It has been 2 weeks today that I had surgery.  I feel great…

Dr. Kafarela at Cima Hospital has decreased my insulin again this week, so now I no longer take fast acting insulin.  So far my readings are staying down.  You have no idea how exciting that is for me.  I have started to workout a little bit again and that also feels good.  I lost 12 pounds the first week, but none since then.

My experience in Costa Rica was excellent.  Everything went smoothly (I didn’t realize all the organization you had do do to get this together). Gloriana was very professional and nice.  She was always there in the hospital to make sure that things were going well.

I would absolutely talk to anyone who is thinking about having this procedure done.  I’ll keep you updated on my progress. Things are looking really good.
